Christopher Dunn
Born just over the Sierras in Reno, NV, Christopher Dunn was introduced to dance at just 6 years of age and has been building his passion into a career ever since. Christopher’s costuming background began in 2004 when he was appointed as Wardrobe Master for The Reno Dance Company (RDC). Over the next decade, Christopher designed and constructed costumes for Cinderella, Coppelia, Broadway Blast, Movin’ to Motown, and the Nutcracker.
In 2011, Christopher left Reno to take his career to the next level in San Francisco. Napoles Ballet, Sarah Berges Dance, and Marika Brussel Dance were some of the first companies in SF where Christopher showcased his costume design while also dancing fulltime. Christopher has invested his costuming talent to support the birth of Dance Theatre of San Francisco and stayed with them for 5 seasons. In 2014, he had the pleasure of joining Oakland Ballet, producing costumes for the critically acclaimed productions “Oakland-esque,” 50th Anniversary Show, Jazz Vistas, Oaktown Blues, and numerous other shows. He continues to create costumes for Diablo Ballet, The Washington Ballet, and Arc Dance in Seattle. He is very excited to be making costumes for Ballet22 and looks forward to what comes next.
